Email the contact below with the page, steps to reproduce, expected and actual result, device model, OS/browser version, whether BPM is installed, and whether you were offline. Add a screenshot with personal details hidden. Never include unredacted payroll, identity documents or a full backup in an initial report.

In Settings, export a JSON backup and check that the downloaded file is available in Files or Downloads outside BPM. It contains your records, so keep it private and secure. Restore reads a file you select on your device, validates it and shows a preview. Only your confirmation replaces the current records. A copy of the previous dataset is retained locally and can be downloaded using the recovery option. CSV exports are reports, not complete restorable backups. BPM does not create automatic external backups.

Clearing site storage, losing your device or removing browser/app data can erase your records. In Settings, Reset all data replaces the active records with an empty dataset; it does not remove an existing recovery copy or all browser flags. To remove all data held by this site, also clear its site data in your browser or device settings, including installed-app storage where separate. Delete any exported files separately. Restore can recover records only from a valid backup you still have. Make and verify a backup before resetting or changing devices.

On iPhone, open backpackersmoney.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and choose Install app or Add to Home screen from the menu. Settings → Install BPM also provides device-specific guidance. First open the installed app online before using it offline. Browser and installed-app storage may be separate: export and verify a backup before installing or transferring records.

BPM has no automatic synchronisation. To transfer records, export a JSON backup on the original device and restore it on the destination after reviewing the preview. Restore replaces the destination’s records; it does not merge datasets. Keep both backups until you have verified the result.

Gross and net income, tax withholding, super and savings projections are estimates based on your records and settings. Manual withholding can differ from your employer’s actual deductions. BPM does not replace an official payslip or professional tax advice. Confirm actual payments against your payslip and bank/payment documentation. Visa progress is also an estimate, not confirmation of eligibility; check with Home Affairs.
